Who We Are

David Lipscomb Campus School is a college preparatory, Christian school serving students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. The mission of the Campus School is to serve its students so that they may master knowledge and skills appropriate to them and become Christ like in attitude and behavior.

Established in 1891 David Lipscomb Campus School exists to serve God by serving students and families. The desire is to create a climate where God is honored and where students grow in the image of Jesus. Excellence is pursued in all areas with an overall goal for all students to grow toward maturity as Jesus did…”in wisdom, stature and favor with God and man” (Luke 2:52).

  • David Lipscomb Campus School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) and the National Christian School Association (NCSA).
  • 99% of DLHS graduates are college bound.
  • The Class of 2007 (127) students accepted over $3 million in scholarships from Universities across the nation.
  • DLCS faculty average 17 years of teaching experience.
  • Over 60% of the faculty hold a Master’s degree or higher.
  • Foreign Language study is an integral part of the curriculum for all grades.
  • Technology is integrated into all grades.
  • Separate Elementary, Middle and High School libraries house over 41,000 holdings. Students also have access to more than 113,000 holdings in the Lipscomb University library.
  • High School students receive college credit through advanced placement courses or through dual credit program in association with Lipscomb University.
  • Standardized test scores are significantly above national and state averages.
  • Science labs are not only available to the Middle and High School students but also to Elementary School students.
  • Lipscomb sports programs have won state championships in Baseball, Softball, Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Track, Cross Country, Volleyball, Wrestling and Tennis.
  • The Lipscomb Music Academy offers students an opportunity to engage in voice and instrument lessons. Band and choral music are available to Lipscomb students as well as Art and Drama programs.
  • Lipscomb students are involved in numerous service projects as well as mission trips both domestic and abroad.
